I graduated from Skidmore College in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. My undergraduate research focused on pesticide photodegradation in local lakes, which sparked a lifelong interest in using chemistry to understand anthropogenic perturbations in natural systems.
Beyond research, I am passionate about long distance running and backpacking. In graduate school, I have run two 50k ultramarathons, with aspirations of running longer distances. Prior to graduate school, I hiked the 2500-mile Pacific Crest Trail and 500-mile Colorado Trail. I hope to continue to walk long trails after I complete my PhD!
